National Transport Coordinating Committee (NTCC)
  This is a steering committee for the Transport Planning Unit (TPU) that meets several times each year and is charged with overseeing the activities of the TPU. The functions of NTCC are to:
   
  provide general guidance and direction to TPU;
  • provide a regular forum for formal consultation between TPU and key decision makers in the transport sector;
  recommend issues to be addressed by TPU and projects for the TPU work program;
  • Preparation and endorsement of Paper on the Port Sector Reform for Cabinet in 2003. The Fiji Ports Corporation Limited set up in 2005.
  • facilitate the work of TPU, especially where it requires close collaboration with other agencies; and
  • assess the performance of TPU against performance measures identified in the TPU Corporate Plan and other criteria
