The Fiji National Transport Sector Plan (FNTSP) was prepared in 1993.It set out policy recommendations to guide the organization, management and development of the transport sector. It was the first comprehensive review since 1969 and covered all aspects of land , sea and air transport: industry structure, infrastructure, services, operations ,regulations ,pricing ,safety ,environmental impacts ,public administration and the suitability and effectiveness of government policies and plans
